Lakes Area Food shelf is hiring

Join Our Team

LAKES AREA FOOD SHELF, located in Pequot Lakes, MN, seeks a seasoned, part-time (15-20 hrs/week) Administrative Assistant, working Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. 


Key responsibilities include answering the phone; data entry using Quick Books; drafting thank-you letters; overseeing volunteer recruitment and training; updating Instagram/Facebook/the website; and coordinating our annual Christmas Tour of Homes. 


Must be skilled with data entry; drafting correspondence; and working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with social media and technology required. A nonprofit background is preferred.
