Lisa Hamilton, Housing and Homeless Specialist for Crow Wing County, is available to meet with you regarding any concerns you have related to housing, rent increases, transportation, unemployment and job training, energy assistance, SNAP applications/benefits, and other concerns. Lisa will be available at the Lakes Area Food Shelf.
Ruby’s Pantry is for anyone that is looking to extend their monthly grocery budget. For a $25 bundle donation, you will receive an abundance of groceries. There is no income or residency requirement. Guests can attend as many locations each month that work for their schedule.
Operation Sandwich is a grassroots program that exists to end childhood hunger by feeding kids when free and reduced meals are not accessible at school. You must pre-register to have a bag available for you to pick up. Pick up is at the Lakes Area Food Shelf from 9 am to 12 pm.
